Return on Investment

David G. and Diann L. Sant

David Sant is a graduate from USU’s electrical engineering program.  He and his wife, Diann, have donated nearly $4 million to USU’s College of Engineering and to the new engineering innovation laboratory building on the USU campus. Explaining his motivation, Sant said he was looking for a substantial way to give back to the community that shaped his life.

In honor of the Sant's contributions, the 3rd floor of the New College of Engineering Building is named the "David G. and Diann L. Sant Student Success Center". Respectively, a new lab building (which is currently being constructed) will be named the "David G. Sant Engineering Innovation Building".

When speaking at the ground-breaking event, USU President Stan Albrecht proudly exclaimed that David's blood truely runs "Aggie Blue". His involvement has been paramount to the future progress of USU's College of Engineering and equally as important to the many current and future students who are benefactors of his extreme generosity.
