Engineering State is an event held by the College of Engineering for high school juniors. Prospective high school juniors interested in attending Utah State University will experience a hands-on, in-depth view of each department within the College of Engineering and solve common problems using the strategies and tools of today's engineers. 

The College of Engineering provides a fascinating tour of its state-of-the-art facilities and involves the best members of its faculty and staff to provide a quality experience.

Students will learn about careers in engineering and have the opportunity to make friends and work with nationally acclaimed faculty. Engineering State has become the best way for interested students and their parents to become familiar with the Utah State University campus and its College of Engineering facilities.  Engineering State is an experience you won't forget!

Applicant Requirements:         

- All high school students should be in their junior year.
- Have a strong interest in math, science, or technology.
- Have a desire to pursue a math, science, or technology career.
- Display citizenship excellence on their scholastic record.

Q. Who are the sponsors?
A. Engineering State is sponsored by generous contributions from USU alumni, engineering firms, school district foundations, corporations, and private foundations.

Q. How may I become a sponsor?
A. One full delegate sponsorship is $400. This supports one delegate (student) throughout the 4-day, on-campus program, which includes: lodging, meals, challenge session materials, field trips, local transportation, awards luncheon, and a sponsorship award issued in your name. It is an excellent opportunity to congratulate and motivate a student for their diligence and hard work.
