Question
What's an Engineering Ambassador?
Answer(s)
-
- How can I use them?
-
Engineering Ambassadors are juniors or seniors in the College of Engineering. They represent all our majors. They give tours of the College and they help with outreach activities (recruiting) for the University. As an interested student (high school, transfer, USU but not sure all that's available) you can call the Advising Center (435-797-2705) to arrange an appointment with an Ambassador.

Each fall some of last year's Ambassadors return. But we need more. Applications are disseminated in junior and senior classes and in department offices. One must be a junior or senior with a good GPA (see application for details). Good candidates are sometimes turned down because we already have enough from their department. We try to maintain a cross section of majors, both males and females, and some multi-cultural students in the group.
