Engineering Professor's Experiment Selected for Testing in INL's Advanced Test Reactor
Dr. Heng Ban, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Utah State University, will soon begin working on a nuclear energy-related experiment that has been selected for testing in the Idaho National Laboratory's Advanced Test Reactor.
One of only four experiments selected nationally for testing through the Lab's National Scientific User Facility, Ban will be joined by researchers from three other universities, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of California-Santa Barbara, and the University of Wisconsin in conducting experiments involving irradiation in a test reactor.
