Koushik Chakraborty wins "Best Paper Award" nomination

Dr. Koushik Chakraborty, ECE Assistant Professor, won a "Best Paper Award" nomination at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Association for Computing Electrical and Electronics Engineers Association for Computing Machinery Very Large Scale Integration Design Conference 2010
, held in Bangalore, India.
At the conference, Chakraborty's co-author, Dr. Sanghamitra Roy presented their nominated paper, Rethinking Threshold Voltage Assignment in 3D Multicore Designs.
Chakraborty's research is computer architecture. He is currently exploring holistic design approaches that combine circuit and architectural design principals to tackle challenges of power efficient and reliable multicore systems design.
