What is EURP? EURP is the Engineering Undergraduate Research Program

The College of Engineering Undergraduate Research Program is designed to involve outstanding undergraduate students in research projects and encourage these students to consider graduate school.
To be eligible, you must:
- be admitted into the Professional Program
- have at least a 3.4 GPA (or GPA required by your department)
- have the support of a research advisor in the College of Engineering
The major features of the program are:
- You will be paid a minimum of $1500/semester.
- You are expect to work at least 10 hours per week.
- You can renew your EURP appointment for two additional semesters for a total of $4500 received from the program, if your research advisor and department head approve. You may use some of these funds for work during the summer.
- As a part of the program, you must present your results at an appropriate professional venue (technical meeting, peer-reviewed publication, USU Undergraduate Research Showcase, Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research, Research on the Hill, etc.).
- You should apply for the "Undergraduate Research Scholar" designation to be included on your official student transcript. (Apply Here)
Applications are due October 30th.
