New Engineering Building; Southwest Facade

The ground breaking for the new engineering building (ENGR) was held on April 25, 2002. In early Fall Semester 2003, faculty, staff, and students moved into the building. The dedication ceremony was held October 16, 2003. Below are photos taken of the interior and exterior of the building.

The building is a place of learning and a tool for learning.  Technology integrated into the building makes its operation visible to visitors.

  • BIE and MAE Department Offices (4th Floor)
  • Office of the Dean (4th Floor)
  • 6 Major Undergraduate Teaching Laboratories
  • Student Project Rooms
  • Expansive Student PC Lab - over 100 Computers
  • Multimedia support in all Classrooms and Conference Rooms
  • Display Area for Engineering Projects
