Community Night

USU Logan Campus, February 23, 2023

Community Night Event was an exhibition held at the Taggart Student Center to create awareness about earthquakes and simultaneously, showcase fun earthquake related activities like the shake-table and geophone games. The main attendees were mostly Utah locals and K-12 students.

Tower building by EERI USU chapter

USU Logan Campus,

The Tower Building Social was a competition for engineering students, who built towers using marshmallows and spaghetti. The towers of each person were then shook at the shake table and a winner was selected based on their tower performance.

Summer Camp

USU Logan Campus, June 20-23 2023

Summer camp was held USU Logan Campus where high school students participated in various earthquake engineering activities, including sessions on a short introduction about earthquake engineering, followed by tower building and shake table activities.
