Composite Materials and Structures - Program
The MS in Composite Materials and Structures is directed at providing students and industry professionals the opportunity to become familiar with how composite materials are used in several areas of engineering research and design across multiple industries. Graduates will develop the ability to better understand the applicability of these materials in improving and advancing product design. Surveys of the materials, processes and design methods associated with composite materials will be given as well as the scientific principles involved. In-depth understanding of the critical manufacturing processes, the testing of constituent and composite materials, and the structural analyses of these complex systems will be taught.
